 The Tretchikoff Project - Social Media Competition Terms and Conditions:

  1. The Promoter is The Tretchikoff Project.
  2. This promotional competition is open to everyone and registered on Facebook and Instagram except any director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Promoter, the marketing service providers or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
  3. This competition runs from 3 May 2017  - 3 June 2017 (closes at 12pm).
  4.  To enter on Facebook, participants will be required to
    1. Like the Tretchikoff Project Facebook page
    2. Post (to this page)  a picture of your Tretchikoff Product in front of a location indicator anywhere in the world. eg. This could be a famous landmark, a road sign, airport, street name, or newspaper    
    3. Check in to your location
    4. Use hashtags #TakeTretchikoffWhereEverYouGo AND #TretchikoffTravels in your content    
  5. To enter on Instagram, participants will be required to
    1. Follow us on instagram
    2. Post to your page a picture of your Tretchikoff Product in front of a location indicator anywhere in the world. eg. This could be a famous landmark, a road sign, airport, street name, or newspaper    
    3. Tag @Tretchiproject and Add your location
    4. Use hashtags #TakeTretchikoffWhereEverYouGo AND #TretchikoffTravels in your content
  6. Only one entry per image is allowed.
  7. Multiple entries are accepted only for images in a variety of locations.
  8. Each week (over 4 weeks) 1 runner up will be chosen to go into the main draw. The runner up will receive a box of postcards.
  9. There will be 1 main competition prize winner who will win a Tretchikoff Clutch bag of their choice to the retail value of over R1500.
  10. The main competition prize winner will voted for by the public out of the pool of 4 runners up.
  11. The winner will be announced on the 10 June 2017
  12. The Promoter will select the runners up based on a quality of entry and correct implementation of competition rules (eg, Like, Follow, Tag)
  13. Winners will be required to provide their names, ID numbers and contact details and to sign an acknowledgment of receipt of the prize.
  14. Winners will be contacted via inmail on their preferred Social Media Platform within 3 days of the draw and will be required to verify their details. The Promoter (or their Agent) will endeavour to contact the prize winner once every day for 5 consecutive working days after their name is drawn. If the prize winner cannot be contacted during this period the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected in accordance with the rules.
  15. Winners will be announced on 10 June 2017 but shipment of prize will only take place 7 days thereafter.
  16. The names of the winners, once contacted, will be published on the Tretchikoff Project Facebook page,
  17. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged or delayed entries for any reason whatsoever. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  18. The prize is not exchangeable for cash and is not transferrable.
  19. Any attempt to use multiple email or Facebook accounts or other tactics to enter more than the stated limit may result in disqualification and all associated entries and/or votes will be void.
  20. The Promoter reserves the right to use any images taken of the winner for publicity purposes in any manner they deem fit, without further remuneration being made payable to the winner. However, the winner has the right to object to these images being used by notification to Ari Lazarus on
  21.  By submitting a picture for entry to this competition the entrant hereby assigns copyright in the picture to The Tretchikoff Project for promotional and advertising purposes. Credit may be given to photographer at the Tretchikoff Project’s sole discretion.
  22. The Promoter shall have the right to change or terminate the promotional competition immediately and without notice. In the event of such change or termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this promotional competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Promoter or its agents.
  23.  In the event that the prize is not available despite the Promoter's reasonable endeavours to procure the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value.
  24. Neither the Promoter, its agents, its associated companies, nor any directors, officers or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant.
  25. Participation in the promotional competition constitutes acceptance of the promotional competition rules and participants agree to abide by the rules.
  26. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, the participants acknowledge that they are providing information to the Promoter and its agents only and not to Facebook.
  27.  All entrants in this Competition release Facebook from all liabilities and claims that they may have arising out of or in connection with this competition and these terms and conditions.
